Forget "Comfortable", go for "Rich"!

Is your goal to be comfortable or rich? There is a HUGE difference. Let's listen to T. Harv Ekert:

If your goal is to be comfortable, chances are you'll never get rich. But if your goal is to be rich, chances are you'll end up mighty comfortable.

Become a Great Learner

Are you a great learner? Some people only think that they are, but if you are not learning at least one new thing each day, then you are NOT a great learner.

Let's listen to another piece of wisdom from T. Harv Eker:

Rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think that they already know.
Every master was once a disaster...you can learn to be great at anything!

Insight of the Day

Saw this on Bob Proctor's Insight of the day email and just had to post it.

What do you think?

"Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different. Life would undergo a change of appearance because we ourselves had undergone a change of attitude."
Katherine Mansfield

Be Accountable for Everything In Your Life

There once was a man who hired a programmer to do some coding for him. The coder did a horrible job, but the man did not realize it until tons of complaints from his customers. Rather than blame the coder, he apologized to his customers and took the full blame for HIRING the bad programmer. He replaced the programmer, had the software bugs fixed, and everyone was happy.

Notice the difference? The RICH admit their mistakes and take personal responsibility for their business. Not so the poor - they would rather blame someone else.

Rich people believe that they create their lives. Poor people believe that life happens to them. If you want to be wealthy, you must believe that you're the one causing your success, mediocrity, or struggle.

Associate with Successful People

Do YOU tend to hang out with successful people, or with unsuccessful people? Or do you not hang out with anyone at all?

My wife and I have been a part of a wonderful mastermind group over here on Talk Shoe. Feel free to give our previously recorded calls a listen.

Birds of a feather flock together. The rich associate with successful people; the poor often associate with unsuccessful people. Energy is contagious. If you want to fly with the eagles, you'll have to stop swimming with the ducks!

- From T. Harv Ecker's Secrets of the Millionaire Mind cards

So I ask you, do YOU swim with the ducks, or soar with the Eagles?
